Financial Support

How We Help

Our hearts are on a mission. All efforts are focused on grieving children in our community. Unfortunately, over 5.2 million children in the U.S. will experience the death of a parent or sibling before they reach adulthood—and this number more than doubles by age 25, to 13.2 million. Through our partnership with Comfort Zone Camp, we give these young people a place where they can be with other kids and adults that understand, while simultaneously learning valuable coping skills to use in their everyday lives. After camp, we make it a priority to reconnect the kids we serve through fun and meaningful activities, so they can continue to strengthen the friendships they formed.

We recognize the restorative influence of animals, and therefore offer an equine-assisted therapy partnership program. This program stimulates the emotional growth of our youth by reducing their anxiety, while congruently building their confidence and social skills.

As you can imagine, death often brings a financial burden. The implementation of our donor-funded scholarship program helps students reach their post-secondary, educational dreams.
